The prosecution’s witness had testified before the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja.
Saraki’s lawyer, Paul Erokoro (SAN), said the defence would file a no-case submission.
The defence team said testimony of its witnesses, was unable to prove any of the 18 counts preferred against Saraki.
The defence will thereafter within one week file its written address on no-case submission.
The prosecution will also respond within one week.
The tribunal fixed June 8 for the adoption for the addresses.
